Game Rulebook - Play a game in standard version - Procedure for a Game Turn

IMPORTANT: (°_°¤{```` ReprésentationTerminologie ````}¤°_° The CandiesCollectors in the game are players as well as players who participate in the game closely. In this chapter, although here will be stipulated names of components without the term component or representation consider when evoking them during the numerous GAME PHASES through a Game Round, that we, Arts 4 Sale, naturally refer to 1 representation of said specified component and not to an entire PAGE of said component. ~ this makes sense, but it is better to explain it so that everyone understands what it is about. As for the usefulness within the game of each component, all this has already been explained in the chapter: Understanding, mechanic and structure of a game. °_°¤{```` ReprésentationTerminologie ````}¤°_°) A STANDARD game (also called STANDARD game) is considered when there are at least 2 CandiesCollectors. And that you want to play together in STANDARD version of the game. It is recommended to play at least one STANDARD game without any variants in order to properly assimilate the rules of the game (and its sub-rules). /!\ Conseil /!\ (°_°¤{```` MusiqueAmbiance ````}¤°_° If you have a little background music to listen to during your game it could be interesting to play it on your favorite device, it will not change the gameplay but will give a musical atmosphere to your game (/^v^)/ °_°¤{```` MusiqueAmbiance ````}¤°_°) ULTRA-IMPORTANT: Everything that follows will always be based on the simple prescription of: "EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE INDICATED", Thus, if you have decided BEFORE the game starts that a situation will behave differently, apply your changes, otherwise, do not deviate from the rules that will follow. ULTRA-IMPORTANT: Before following this chapter, you really need to have understood, read and applied these other chapters: -(1)- Play a game in standard version : { Game Objective } -(2)- Play a game in standard version : { Printing and Setup Components } If all this is clear to you... Then! Here, in every ... ... ### phase 0 ### PASSING ORDER you will learn how to define which of the CandiesCollectors... ... will take their very first turn in the game and which way the turn will go next. ... ### phase 1 ### INITIAL MOVEMENT you will learn what happens at the beginning of each Game Turn and what the initial move is ... ... on one of the pieces of the "Game Board". ... ### phase 2 ### INTERACTION WITH THE SQUARE you will know what happens when the "Pawns Characters" of a CandiesCollectors stops on a square ... ... on one of the pieces of the "Game Board". ... ### phase 3 ### SURPRISE! you will learn what is included in this phase that will spice up ... ... in a surprising way. ... ### phase 4 ### END OF THE GAME TURN ! you will learn what is included in this phase that will spice up ... ... another CandiesCollectors' turn or the End of the Game. Ready or set? Here we go, have fun! : ### Phase 0 ### PASSING ORDER The first round of the game will always be the same, you will have to define the order of passage to know who of all the CandiesCollectors will start the first round. Here are different ideas to define this order... A) Either you define the order by age of the CandiesCollectors (ascending or descending). (ascending) - The oldest CandiesCollectors will start the first round. Next, choose whether the direction of the Turn will be clockwise or counterclockwise. Proceed to Phase 1. (descending) - The youngest CandiesCollectors will start the first Game Turn. Next, choose whether the direction of the Turn will be clockwise or counterclockwise. Proceed to (Phase 1). B) Either each CandiesCollectors blindly draws a "Tokens Movements" from the "Tokens Movements" pile. The value of the "Tokens Movements" (ascending or descending) will define the order of play. (ascending) - The CandiesCollectors among the other CandiesCollectors who has drawn the "Tokens Movements" with the highest value will start the first round of play. Tip: In case of a tie, the CandiesCollectors with the "Tokens Movements" ... ... with the highest value and who is not tied with any other CandiesCollectors will start the first Round. Next, choose whether the direction of the Turn will be clockwise or counter-clockwise. Then reshuffle the "Tokens Movements" into the "Tokens Movements" pile. Proceed to (Phase 1). (descending) - The CandiesCollectors among the other CandiesCollectors who drew the "Tokens Movements" with the lowest value will start the first round of play. Tip: In case of a tie, the CandiesCollectors with the "Tokens Movements" ... ... with the lowest value and who is not tied with any other CandiesCollectors will start the first Round. Next, choose whether the direction of the Turn will be clockwise or counter-clockwise. Then reshuffle the "Tokens Movements" into the "Tokens Movements" pile. Proceed to (Phase 1). ### Phase 1 ### INITIAL MOVEMENT 1) Be aware that each Game Turn begins with this Phase, even Game Turn number 0. 1.a) The same for each CandiesCollectors. 2) At the beginning of his or her Game Turn, the CandiesCollectors must 2.a) Shuffle the pile of "Tokens Movements" before doing anything else. 2.b) Blindly draw a "Tokens Movements" from the "Tokens Movements" pile. 3) Once the "Tokens Movements" have been picked, the CandiesCollectors must 3.a) Observe the location of his or her "Pawns Characters" on the "Game Board". 3.b) Consider these situations: [1] The CandiesCollectors has a "Sheets Costumes" in his or her Inventory that states a modifier (gain or loss) of "Tokens Movements". The "Tokens Movements" modifier must be applied by the "Sheets Costumes" as stated in the chapter --- Understanding, mechanic and structure of a game => [Component relative to "Sheets Costumes"]. ; Move forward his "Pawns Characters" on the piece of the "Game Board" from where his "Pawns Characters" are located ... ... by the number of squares indicated by the "Tokens Movements" thus drawn, while having previously applied the modifiers specified by the "Sheets Costumes". IMPORTANT: - It is worth remembering that if the resulting value of the "Tokens Movements" after applying the modifier from the "Sheets Costumes" is raised to 0 or less than 0, then the move will simply be cancelled and ignored. FURTHERMORE: - Any modifiers other than those related to "Tokens Movements" will be inapplicable. ( IMPORTANT: If the move cannot be started or completed in the FORWARD direction, then the move must be applied as stated in the chapter --- Understanding, mechanic and structure of a game => [Component relative to "Tokens Movements"]. ) [2] The CandiesCollectors has a "Sheets Costumes" in his or her Inventory that does not stipulate "Tokens Movements" modifiers. ; Move forward his "Pawns Characters" on the piece of the "Game Board" from where his "Pawns Characters" are located ... ... by the number of spaces indicated by the "Tokens Movements" drawn. ( IMPORTANT: if the move cannot be started or completed in the FORWARD direction, then the move must be applied as stated in the chapter --- Understanding, mechanic and structure of a game => [Component relative to "Tokens Movements"]. ) [3] The CandiesCollectors does not have any "Sheets Costumes" in their Inventory. ; Move forward his "Pawns Characters" on the piece of the "Game Board" from where his "Pawns Characters" are located ... ... by the number of spaces indicated by the "Tokens Movements" drawn. ( IMPORTANT: if the move cannot be started or completed in the FORWARD direction, then the move must be applied as stated in the chapter --- Understanding, mechanic and structure of a game => [Component relative to "Tokens Movements"]. ) 3.c) Return the "Tokens Movements" to the "Tokens Movements" pile. 3.d) Shuffle the "Tokens Movements" pile again. 3.e) Proceed to (Phase 2). ### Phase 2 ### INTERACTION WITH THE SQUARE 1) Once the "Tokens Movements" have been drawn from the CandiesCollectors, the square where the "Pawns Characters" are located must be considered and analyzed 1.a) The square where the "Pawns Characters" has stopped is a square ~~ linked to a "Tiles Housing". These squares are structures, buildings, houses, tenements, etc., and at the exact arrival on such a square, the CandiesCollectors has these possible options: [1] Either the CandiesCollectors decides to trigger a Gathering at Doors ; In this case, the CandiesCollectors will enter an action, which is not a phase, but a special step, refer here : @`--( ACTION : Gathering at Doors )--`. ; In any case, after a Gathering at Doors action has ended in a "failed", "invalidated" or "successful" status, proceed to (Phase 3). [2] Either the CandiesCollectors decides not to trigger a Gathering at Doors ; Proceed to (Phase 3). 1.b) The square where the "Pawns Characters" have stopped is a square ~~ where another CandiesCollectors's "Pawns Characters" are located. These squares are challenge squares between CandiesCollectors, and at the exact arrival on such a square, the CandiesCollectors has these possible options: [1] Either the CandiesCollectors decides to trigger a Gathering in Street ; In this case, the CandiesCollectors will enter an action, which is not a phase, but a special step, refer here: @`--( ACTION : Gathering in Street )--`. ; In any case, after a Gathering in Street action has ended with a "desertion", "failed", "equalization" or "successful" status, go to (Phase 3). [2] Either the CandiesCollectors decides not to trigger a Gathering in Street ; Proceed to (Phase 3). ### Phase 3 ### SURPRISE! 1) The CandiesCollectors has the obligation to 1.a) To draw the first "Cards Surprises!" ; The draw is carried out as stipulated in the chapter --- Understanding, mechanic and structure of a game => [Component relative to "Cards Surprises!"] 2) The CandiesCollectors must 2.a) Now apply the effect(s) of the selected "Cards Surprises! ; This is in accordance with the provisions of the chapter --- Understanding, mechanic and structure of a game => [Component relative to "Cards Surprises!"] ; The "Sheets Costumes" modifiers in the CandiesCollectors Inventory are NEVER applicable here. 2.b) After finishing applying the effects of the "Cards Surprises!" ; The "Cards Surprises!" should be put back into play in the "Cards Surprises!" pile. ; The restart is carried out as stipulated in the chapter --- Understanding, mechanic and structure of a game => [Component relative to "Cards Surprises!"] 3) Once the last "Cards Surprises!" has been drawn and put back into play, the CandiesCollectors must 3.a) Proceed to (Phase 4). ### Phase 4 ### END OF THE GAME TURN ! 1) This phase marks the end of the Game Round for the CandiesCollectors 1.a) Consider these situations: [1] If at the end of the Game Turn, a CandiesCollectors manages to reach the victory objective defined at the beginning of the game, see the chapter -- Play a game in standard version : { Game Objective } ; Then the game ends and the CandiesCollectors who has reached the victory goal wins and is crowned King or Queen of CandiesCollectors! [2] If at the end of the Game Turn, none of the CandiesCollectors manage to reach the victory objective defined at the beginning of the game, see the chapter -- Play a game in standard version : { Game Objective } ; Then it is the turn of another CandiesCollectors to proceed with his or her Game Turn from (Phase 1). ; Don't forget that the next CandiesCollectors to enter (Phase 1), and thus make his or her turn, was defined in (Phase 0).
