Game Rulebook - Understanding, mechanic and structure of a game - Component relative to "Game Board"

¤ It symbolizes a printable game component that is relative to "Game Board" in the form of Page(s) of full page format of standard A4 size sheet. Because each page behaves like a piece associable to the other pieces of the "Game Board". So 1 page = 1 piece of the "Game Board". ¤ The "Game Board" is used to move the "Pawns Characters". ¤ Each piece of the "Game Board" has enough free space to accommodate the other game components. NOTE: Among the game components, ... ... remember that some of the game components are not intended to be placed on the surface of your "Game Board" pieces. ... rest assured, all this is clearly explained, specified and re-specified. ¤ The "Game Board" is symbolized by a very graphic set of rectangular/square shapes, rather geometrical, which put end-to-end will form paths: It is also symbolized by the Arts 4 Sale logo (because well, we have to put our logo on our game, since we spent time to pamper it with passion!) - the logo of the game (because it is also important, that gives him his identity), - a number from 001 to 344 and all in an illustrated circle, - a graphic scheme in the form of squares (or tiles for the purists) to be moved on which the "Pawns Characters" can be moved. - Each edge of the pieces of the "Game Board" has "joints" which indicate how to join the pages together. ¤ The value indicated by the number on each "Game Board" component informs the unique numerical identifier for each piece of the "Game Board". # But here are many more details: - squares and well : There are 2 types: ~ The standard, walkable square, resembling a geometric shape resembling a square. ~ The blocked square, impracticable, resembling a standard square except that they have their edges hatched and a white diamond at each corner. - when it comes to the identification number in numerical form: ~ There are 3 types of numbers: units, tens and hundreds. Each "Game Board" page identification number is unique (each page corresponds to 1 unique piece of the "Game Board", hence the interest of a unique identifier). These ID numbers can be used to share your pieces with other people playing the game or to test the "Game Board" layouts of these people. Also, have a look at the "Generation Tools" section because you can also (if you lack inspiration or something) use the "Game Board" layout generator. (the generator is in work, it will be available during Christmas 2022, in a future edition of the game). - visual joints : These are cut strips: ~ These strips are pluggable between each of the pieces of the "Game Board" and this shows you how to plug them: IF a piece of the "Game Board" does not plug in. THEN: you have reversed the orientation (portrait/landscape) of the page representing the "Game Board" piece. NOTICE: ( you can, however, reverse the orientation of the "Game Board" pieces if you need to, but the "Game Board" pieces should NEVER be placed in portrait orientation. ) BECAUSE: In the interest of perfect finish and maximum precision when inserting the "Game Board" pieces, please note that the "Game Board" pages have been drawn in Inkscape with vector format and therefore on PC to guarantee a precision approaching perfection. ¤ It doesn't matter which "Game Board" page is printed: natively none of these pages have decorations (you can add them using the "Decoration Tiles" - see below). ¤ If you don't find your happiness among the pieces available in the "Game Board" components ... ... there is nothing to stop you from structuring some yourself using the free-form page ... If you draw some: After much thought and testing to determine the best possible format ... ... consider that the A4 format chosen for the game will require that you specify : - always a structure of 3 x 3 boxes, and 8 visual joints ... - the size of your squares must respect the size of the "Pawns Characters". And then you are free to use your beautiful paths. ¤ INDICATIONS TO PRINT: - The pieces of the "Game Board" are not colored, but if you wish, you can color them very well (once printed). - Each "Game Board" page is named as follows: > `Page - [*].png` (where * is a number). > Each `Page - [*].png` corresponds to a single piece of the "Game Board". > Print as many `Page - [*].png` pages as you need for your game. # We at Arts 4 Sale have provided a lot of unique pieces for your final "Game Board". You will be able to compose with no less than 344 unique pieces: of course, printing everything would be crazy, don't do that (^_^))! We tried to cover almost all the possibilities (that we considered strategic) for all these 344 pieces! # A minimum number of pages is required - see for the different types of parts: "STANDARD" or "SOLO". > `Page - [free roam, parcours libre].png` > > The `Page - [free roam, parcours libre]` corresponds to a customizable piece of the "Game Board". > > > Print as many pages `Page - [free roam, parcours libre]` than desired/required for your game. > With a pencil, write : - crosses or the capital letter ( X ) in each existing square that you want to delete. - exclamation marks (! ) in each existing square that you want to turn into a diamond square (impassable). > With a pencil, write : - a number (greater than 344) or a legend (symbol, text, letter, drawing) in the circle originally intended to contain the identifier of the piece of the "Game Board". > > Then keep your creations in order to create your unique reusable piece of the "Game Board" (for your game, but also game sessions!). ¤ Unless otherwise specified, CandiesCollectors cannot keep for themselves (on their side) this kind of game component. ¤ There is no descriptive caption icon for this type of game component.
