Informations Corner - Story behind the game conception

Being a true declaration of celebration and love and where all our heart has been put into it, Tricks or Treats | Farces ou Friandises will know how to amuse you, as much as we, Arts 4 Sale, have been amused to conceive it! Arts 4 Sale has sometimes participated in the Freebies that each year the Fantasies Attic organizes. Unfortunately, through no fault of their own ... ... Arts 4 Sale could not do anything during the 2-3 year pandemic that affected the whole world, and so, we missed it. So... this had to be remedied! So note that Tricks or Treats | Farces ou Friandises was born from the desire ... ... to propose something really original, in terms of Freebie (with permissive CC BY-NC 4.0 license for a great flexibility, see the chapter: License choosed for the game). This game was conceived by a single person, a woman determined to offer a great and masterful board game, but above all evolving and with a huge life span, so much its conception was influenced by the wish to propose an enormous replayability by constantly renewing new aspects of the game! This determined woman is called... Ah... I wanted to say... My name is Tempérance Klug! Yes... Because I'm also the one who wrote the rules and everything that goes with them! I have many pseudonyms that I use on the Internet, and my last favorite one was: Stashed Girl What's up with that? Well... I think it suits perfectly to delimit my introverted character. And also, because, wow! It's really a competitive nickname with a wonderful story behind it, but that's another story I'll enjoy telling you another day! So let's get back to the point, I'm digressing here. This project took me two long months of building, drawing, calculating and thinking about the game not to mention the time invested in writing the rules, balancing the game and a lot of testing, especially with my family, on their own wooden tables. (Hence the pictures of the game presentation, rather rustic). Otherwise, you should know that... Arts 4 Sale intends to perfect it even more, and who knows? With your imagination?!!) So: I, Tempérance Klug, the foundress of Arts 4 Sale for 6 years now, would like you to understand that although the game is offered free and published with the exclusive consent of Arts 4 Sale (www.arts4sale.art) after a special event on The Fantasies Attic that this does not give you all the rights ... ... because no-no ! ... You can't use it to commercialize all or part of it. ... I protected it with a License, but that gives the possibility to a fanbase, that a community can be created and make a lot of "modifications" for Tricks or Treats | Farces ou Friandises. Finally: If this bears fruit and the License is respected (see later chapter: License choosed for the game) ! Arts 4 Sale has decided in this case and for its community that its game will not be paid. In addition, Arts 4 Sale, will really pamper Tricks or Treats | Farces ou Friandises. : This constitutes these developments: Arts 4 Sale will offer updates from time to time Arts 4 Sale will offer updates from time to time: improvements and balance revisions or revisions of game components. Arts 4 Sale will from time to time offer components Components: in-game items that reference new components.
